Carnival · CARNIVAL VISTA at CT06, in at 6:45am on Sat, Sep 19. Sails at 3:30pm — mid-afternoon, with an hour or more of light left after she clears the jetty. Shoot it from public ground — the jetty at the channel mouth and the lock road put the whole hull broadside as it passes, which is closer than any terminal viewpoint gets you. A long lens is not required and a wide one is: the ship is the size of the frame.
